Sweet Baby Boy - Photo Storage Box - Fabrika Decoru DT

And hello again!

I have time today so I am sharing a few project in a row :)

I will be quick... Here is a photo storage box which was created from start to finish out of medium weight chipboard and was embellished with the paper "Sweet Baby Boy" by Fabrika Decoru.

The box is done in a matchbox style and the inside drawer can be pulled out either to the top or to the bottom of the box's cover.

I've added a ribbon to one of the sides, which will make taking out the pictures easy.

The characters of this collection are so adorable! I hope you will like them too :)

Once I've created a Snapguide tutorial for putting this box together. It's for a Russian blog, so the text and explanations are all in Russian. For the previous version of the box I've used Prima papers from "The archivist" collection.
You don't have to know Russian to complete the box, as all the needed measurements are stated on the chipboard and paper pieces, so I think it is possible to follow a tutorial without actually reading the text. If you want to create this box, give the tutorial a go  :)

Thanks for visiting me today. I will you all the best.

'Love Letters' - Folio Style + Accordion Album - Fabrika Decoru

Hello everyone!

Sharing a project which was created for the Fabrika Decoru design team. It features the papers from the "Letters of Love" collection.

The album measures about 4" X 6" and has accordion flaps for 3.5X5" pictures on both sides of the cover.

I've used some journaling cards from the collection as well and put them in the pockets of the album:

Here are some pictures of the album's cover:

I want to thank to Mariko Nakagawa for the inspiration.

Graphic 45 - Steampunk Debutante - Handbound Notebook

Hello dear visitors!

Sharing my handbound notebook created with the Graphic 45 "Steampunk Debutante" Deluxe paper collection.

Every collection of these magical papers can be called a favorite. Steampunk Debutante definitely has a special place in the hearts of the G45 fans.

The notebook I've created is an A6 size and has been bound in the way that I'm explaining in this tutorial.

To add a little zest to the notebook, I’ve created a double cover which works like a “magic wallet”. The cover is magnetic, and in addition it is held by the ribbons and can be opened to both left and right directions, revealing space for quick tucking some tiny tickets and paper pieces in.

A couple of the inside signatures are bound to the notebook’s spine using a thin twine, and the tails of the twine are embellished with the metal cogs and some beads to compliment the overall design.

I’ve cut out quite a lot of the small details out of the paper sheets from the “Steampunk Debutante” and layered them on the cover to create a finished composition.

Graphic 45 - Cafe Parisian - Hexagon Box

Hello dear visitors!

Café Parisian paper line is the best for making favor boxes, in my opinion. All the cut outs that you can get from the paper are perfect for embellishing birthday themed projects, with the sweet treats, cookies and pastries.

I would like to share a hexagon box (which I created from chipboard a while ago), embellished with the beautiful Café Parisian paper. The link to my old video tutorial for creating the box base may be found here (Part 1, Part 2), and in the meanwhile I hope you will enjoy seeing the pictures of the final result.

A "Happy Birthday" Card with IAR Flowers and Prima Paper

Hello dear all!

Today I am here with a card, created with the I Am Roses flowers and some Prima papers from the "Love Clippings" collection.

I've used the following IAR flowers:
R22-518 - Pale Pink Variegated Puffy Paper Flowers
S3 - 426 - Mixed Pastel Cherry Blossoms
R3 - 98 - Salmon Red Roses

The largest cream flower is handmade. I've made a quick envelope out of craft wrapping paper, to put the card inside.

Don't forget about IAR May Challenge and submit your works here. The prizes are waiting for the winners.

Have a great day!

A Double Layout with the Graphic 45 Cityscapes Collection

Hello dear visitors!

I am back-sharing a few projects which I created earlier and one of them is a double layout for the Graphic 45 design team. I've used the papers from the Cityscapes collection and a few vintage photos of London.

In scrapbooking, as in any other field of arts and crafts and in life in general, there are things that we don’t feel quite comfortable to do, since they seem just “not our cup of tea”, something which leads us away from the comfort zone to which all of us are so used too.

During the DT term on the Graphic 45 team I have already been challenged a few times to leave that comfort zone and create something new. I have never created layouts, and for this month our assignment was to create not a single, but a double layout!

I've framed both of the pages in the Ribba Frames from IKEA and want to mount them on a wall somewhere in the house, just need to decide where exactly :)

Here is the list of the Graphic 45 products used:
Cityscapes 12X12 Pad
Cityscapes Decorative Chipboard
Cityscapes Journaling Chipboard
Cityscapes 6x6 Patterns & Solids
Metal Clock Keys
Ornate Metal Key Holes

ATCs with "Mr. and Mrs. Back" by Studio 75

Hello dear all!

Wanted to share a series of the Artist Trading Cards, created with the Studio 75 papers from the "Mr. & Mrs. Black" collection.

I love the projects in this 'a-la-vintage' style more than the ones with the flowers, the vintage style really inspires me and I hope you will find some inspiration in my today's post too.

To finish the cards off, besides the Studio 75 papers I've used some stamps from different sets by Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. I think these worked together just perfect.
